Martina McNamara’s Fun Run
We had an excellent morning for the Fun Run in Lusk on Saturday April 23rd. While this was not an event organised by Lusk AC, many of the members willingly volunteered to Marshall and took part in the event. Indeed there were visitors from Duleek & District Athletic Club, Star of the Sea AC, Balbriggan Roadrunners, St. Pats GAA Stamullen and other clubs not associated with athletics in the region of North Dublin and East Meath.
The organisers are extremely grateful to everyone who took part and helped out. It is very comforting to know that when people need a helping hand there is always someone there to help. Your participation means a lot to Martina’s Family Lusk AC want to wish Martina McNamara all the best in her treatment and look forward to seeing you around our club as a member running your next 10km very soon.
