Sarah does it again!
In her second pole vault competition in 5 days, Sarah Derham last night took part in the Senior Dublin Championships and came away with the gold medal. She came close to her PB on her way to the medal.
And she is not finished yet as this Friday she lines up with her fellow competitors in the Dublin Juvenile Championships.Good luck to you and all the Lusk AC gang taking part this weekend.
The standard of athletics in the Juvenile Championships this year is very high and it is heartening to see that all our 50 members from Lusk taking part are competing very well and winning medals. We have noticed a major improvement from our athletes in the main track sprint events with many making it to finals. This is proof that our training strategy is working and look forward to success in this area in the coming years. It is thanks to the huge effort of our highly trained coaching team that this improvement has come about. Well done everyone.
