Little Athletics
Little Athletics focuses on Agility, Balance & Co-ordination.
The Little Athletics Program introduces little athletes (6-9 years) to athletics in a fun, engaging and non-competitive environment.
It focuses on the use of games to develop fitness whilst enhancing agility, co-ordination and balance. These are the fundamentals to long term physical athletic development.
Training takes place once a week for 60 minutes. Twice each year the club hold a tournament to test each athlete in a fun environment. It is also an opportunity to check each athlete’s progress. A kid will progress to the juvenile section of the club following agreement between the section coaches and the little athlete’s parent.
Training times
Tuesdays at Lusk National School 7pm to 8pm.
