Dublin “Indoors” Lusk AC success The Dublin Juvenile Indoor championships continued on (Saturday) in a bitterly cold Morton Stadium. Donadea 50K Ultra Marathon!

Ras na hEireann 2016

Nine Lusk AC athletes travelled to Drogheda for the Ras na hEireann today. While it was cold, the weather remained dry and conditions under foot were perfect compared to Raheny a few weeks back. We had Adam McNally as the sole juvenile racer who used the event as a training session when he realised the massive cross country talent that took part in his race. The 40 Day Challenge Ready To Run

  We are starting a new challenge that is open to everyone in the community both members and non members. Starting on Ash Wednesday (Feb 10th) we will run the ring road at 6am every morning until Easter Sunday. The route will start at Lusk National School 6am and proceed to Skerries Roundabout for 6.05am, Rush Roundabout 6.10am, Dublin Roundabout 6.15am, Centra Dun Emer 6.20am, Round Towers GAA 6.30am. Raheny 5 Mile Presentation

Tonight after training the club had the pleasure of congratulating Darren Ryan on his amazing achievement from Sunday's race. Darren was the first Junior athlete across the line in the Raheny 5 Mile in an incredible time of 26:56. Raheny 5 Mile Race – First Junior Athlete home!

  Darren Ryan made a last minute decision last night to enter today's Raheny 5 Mile and it proved to be a very wise decision. With a hugely talented field assembled the race was won in a course record time by national champion Mick Clohessy. Lusk AC to host a Cardiac Screening day with AMS*

Lusk AC takes the health and well being of our members and indeed the whole community very seriously. Therefore we have organised a Cardiac Screening day on Saturday 5th March in Lusk National School. The screening is available to all in our community aged 12+ and not just club members. Brian Combined Events

Brian Flynn competed in the Junior National Indoor Combined Events in Athlone today and came away with the silver medal scoring 2655 points. Just 40 points behind the winner. Combined events involve taking part in different disciplines of athletics and points are awarded on achievement in each event. Long Slow Sunday Run
